Etna update, 21 February 2013

The fourth episode of lava fountaining at Etna's New Southeast Crater in little more than 48 hours took place on the morning of 21 February 2013. Like the preceding paroxysms, this event produced lava fountains and flows, and an ash cloud that was blown by the wind toward the northern sector of the volcano. A more detailed report will be posted soon.
